Client product-type parameters

Use the parameters listed in Table 3–3 to control the nature of a client session.

Table 3–3: Client product-type parameters  

Syntax	Parameter	Purpose
-rg	Run 4GL client	Limit access or functionality of the session to the 4GL client.
-rq	Run query client	Limit access or functionality of the session to the Query client.
-rr	Run run-time client	Limit access or functionality of the session to the run-time client.
-rx	Encrypted compiler mode	Enable a query or run-time OpenEdge version to compile encrypted source code and access the Data Dictionary to manage schema (for example: for security management and to dump or load the .df file).
